Privacy Policy

Nothing. Penvera has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking or crash-reporting libraries. The app does not request the internet permission, so it cannot send anything from your device to us or to anyone else.

• Your documents. You open and save files through Android's own file picker, and Penvera can only read or write the files and folders you choose there. Working copies and automatic recovery copies of open documents are kept in the app's private storage on your device so unsaved work is not lost.
• Settings. Your preferences and workspace layout are stored in the same private storage.
• Clipboard and sharing. The app reads the clipboard only when you paste, writes to it only when you copy or cut, and shares a file only when you choose Share.

None of this is sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it.

If Android backup is turned on for your device, Android may include Penvera's settings and private files in your device backup to your Google account, and restore them on a new device. This is a feature of Android, controlled by you in your device settings and handled by Google under its own privacy policy. We have no access to your backups.

Penvera requests no special Android permissions. File access is granted one file or folder at a time through the system file picker.

When you download Penvera from Google Play, Google processes data about your purchase and download under the Google Privacy Policy. If you have chosen to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, Google may give us aggregated, anonymous crash and performance statistics for the app. These do not identify you.

This website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising, and its fonts are served from this site. Like any website, our hosting provider may record technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested in server logs, to deliver the site and keep it secure. These logs are not used to identify visitors and are kept only as long as the hosting provider needs them.

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Penvera is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Because we hold no personal data about app users, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to access or delete that correspondence. You can contact us at privacy@hadtaw.com with any privacy question. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

If the app ever starts handling personal data differently, for example by adding an online feature, we will update this policy before that release and change the effective date above.
